Haylee has had a bully since fifth grade. Now, they're seniors. He grew up to be the "player-heartbreaker" type, and she's the girl who sits in the back of the class and doesn't talk much, yet is as loud as she can be with her friends. When Haylee sees something that she didn't expect from her bully, she starts to believe he isn't as bad as she thinks. She might have to look past his facade she's so familiar with, and see him for a person that she wouldn't expect for him to be.

For as long as I remember, Nathan had always hated me. There was no other word to explain his feelings except the hatred from the bottom of his heart, and his reasons for hating me was unknown.
