The underground was always intended to be a peaceful place. Their king had never wanted to breed hatred in his people, nor did he want them to turn their anger on each other.

They were an amicable civilization until the king's oldest daughter arrived.

A human girl, one that could save their kingdom from its inevitable ruin, became the heir to the throne, followed by the monster prince, and another fallen child. The people demanded freedom at the cost of the princesses' lives. The king insisted on peace for the sake of his daughters. Unrest turned to insurrection. Two humans and a young monster are left to rule the kingdom. The three, all unfit to lead, devolve into chaos, and with them, their kingdom may also fall.

Long ago, two races ruled over the Earth. Humans and monsters. At least, that's the story we all know. There was another race. Technically, they were monsters. Skeleton monsters to be exact. Humans shunned them because they were monsters. Monsters shunned them because humans had skeletons. In retaliation, the skeletons split into two different races. The Surface Skeletons and the Abyss Skeletons. The Surface Skeletons reaches out to both monsters and humans. However, when the war started, they were some of the first monsters attacked and many were killed when they fought with the other monsters. Only a handful were sealed underground but without the Sun to strengthen their bones, the skeletons suffered until they received anonymous help. Very few survived to this point and slowly, they died out. The Royal Scientist at the time and his wife tried to have children. Each time left them severely weakened. Each child dusted until the wife gave up her life to bring a great skeleton into the world. That child is the last of his kind. The Abyss Skeletons shunned all other monsters and humans, considered them all demons. Their society was alike human society long ago. Divided. They believe they are strong and emotions only weaken. The class system was rigid and they possessed a kill or be killed attitude to all other monsters and humans. They thrived underground and ended up building their society in the Underground's own Abyss. It is a shame that only their leader can reclaim their heir from the corruption caused by those demons. Warning: Rated Mature for possible smut and probable gore. I'm sorry I don't know what I'm doing but this ain't for little kids. Also, cover doesn't belong to me. Credit to creator. Found it randomly when I searched up Undertale.

Frisk has gone through the Underground countless times. Each time trying to figure out a way to SAVE the one that started everything. But this time it will be different, there is only one thing that hasn't been tried until now. (Disclaimer: I have never written a fanfic before, so don't expect a masterpiece) (Disclaimer 2.0: This will have MAJOR spoilers from the game (obviously) so I highly recommend you play the game first)
