Rumors have been flying ever since a group of scientist in the Feet City who were capable on the unsuccessful attempt of the nuclear experimentation. Due to the corrupted experiment, unexpectedly it leads to a nuclear breakage which causes the ejection of harmful chemicals and results to genetic mutation. Somehow, the genetic mutation generated the abnormal DNA disorder of human beings and caused them to become a flesh eating people. But the thing is that people didn't believe and just ignored the whole conspiracy. They continued their works, daily routine and basis. And there goes a class of Grade 10 Gethsemane students went to school, not expecting a big nuclear explosion that ejected a nuclear smoke and covered the entire campus. After inhaling the smoke, they've lost their consciousness for about two weeks and woke up founding out that their fellow schoolmates were gone. The class of Grade 10 Gethsemane were the only people in the whole campus left alive which confused them so much. Eventually, they believe and concluded that apocalypse is really happening. So they stick together to plan something out from the most feared zombie apocalypse. Society is crumbling. Zombie apocalypse is happening. Outbreak: The Silence Before
The story begins in a seemingly typical day at a school campus, filled with the usual hustle and bustle of students attending their classes, talking with friends, and preparing for the end of the school day. The characters, a diverse group of friends and classmates, go about their normal routines without any suspicion of the impending doom. The friendships between Denisse, Euanne, Eunice, Eunise, Samantha, Jasemaine, Lei, Lowie, Atasha, Eriel, Roa, Vaneza, Maia, Ryjel, Princess, Rhianna, Power, Kaizer, Stephen, Liam, Mary, and Keziah give a sense of community and normalcy, where everyone is simply focused on their studies, weekend plans, and sharing moments with each other. However, the peace of this day is shattered when a freak accident in the school leads to a rapid outbreak. A student from another grade interacts with a rat infected with dangerous chemicals and rabies, causing a chain reaction. That student becomes the first zombie, and the infection spreads quickly through the school campus and the surrounding barangay. The sounds of chaos and screams echo in the hallways, setting off alarms among the students who, at first, think it's some sort of prank.
