Serena Dawson has cancer. Ever since she was a little girl, she had to undergo countless treatments to try and cure her APL - acute promyelocytic leukemia. She has given up hope - five times she has went into remission, but the cancer always retured. When she moves to England to get help from the "best oncologist there is," she runs into Harry Styles from the boyband One Direction. Like her, he has been diagnosed with cancer. The same type, too - APL. Serena begins to bond with this boy and help him deal with what she has had all her life. In all the chaos of the nausea, depression, hair loss and chemo, they begin to find comfort in each other. And together, they decide to face up to their cancer. Every little step of the way.
