Cyberpunk: A New World

Before you read this you need to know who I am or else you won't get the full picture. The year is 2200 and my name is Elijah, I'm 17 years old, and I'm what people call a "Rider." As a rider I participate in drift races in the slums of my city and earn cash for my gang the Twilight Crusaders. Where do I live you ask well it's fairly simple I live in Neo Angeles, otherwise known as the worst city in all of the United States, a place where corrupt businessmen rule the city and the pickings are left for gangs. It's here where I live with my mom in a small house in the city. My Dad died in a car accident when I was twelve years old, at least that's what the report said but I doubt it was just an accident. You see the world I live in is one of chaos, corruption, survival, and demons. Here you have three options: You're either lucky and are born into a wealthy family, second, you become a demon and do whatever it takes to survive, or you crumble under the weight and find yourself dead in a ditch or an alley because you looked at someone the wrong way. That's just how life is here it may be unfair but in the end only the strong and cunning stay alive.
