She's always wanted  to impress her cold-hearted , hot-headed mother somehow, so her journey takes her to the greatest challenge a Pokemon adventure has to offer: The Battle Frontier.

There was no way she was going to let her big brother down by giving up, so she retrys again... only to end up becoming partners with the one named Nate, who is a serious police officer, movie star, and trainer... how did she get stuck with someone like him!?
