That sentence could be interpreted in two ways, and both would be right.
His grades are shit, his parents are assholes, and his only friend is his brother.
That all changes when his parents decide that for 9th grade, he was going to a disciplinary high school in North Carolina.
He thinks everyone there is stuck up- until he meets Frank.

Don't bash me, I'm a first-time fanfiction writer, but I'd love to give it a go.

Frank tries to make it easier on Gerard as he is clearly nervous about working in the high school, and they end up being good friends, but just how good of friends will they become? This description is awful, as is the title, but I suck with those, so I promise the book will be better! Haha

AN: hello. this is my first fic so it may not be good. and i may update rarely cause i just dont usually have time. my friend came up with the idea and another friend cane up with the name so.... ye. honestly imma just be coming up with the story as i go. anyways, expect just a lot of cameos of other singers/band members cause im too lazy to come up with names. It's not like I asked for this. I didn't ask. I didn't want this. But now there's nothing in this world that I could want more. Him, next to me. Smiling. Us sitting next to each other. Holding hands. Kissing. Hugging. Everything. Frank; a depressed kid with problems no one could imagine. And a desire to die. Gerard; another depressed kid who doesn't want life anymore. 3:39 am. Gerard finds Frank passed out on the beach. 5:24 am. Frank wakes up in his room with no memory of two hours before. 6:12 am. Mikey, Gerard's brother, sits in his brother's room, talking about the boy Gerard found on the beach. 9:52 am. Gerard wonders about the boy on the beach. 10:43 am. Frank wonders why he's still alive. 12:37 pm. Mikey wonders why his friend, Frank, is acting so weird. 2:19 pm. Gerard leaves the house and goes to the beach, where he found the boy. 3:49 pm. Frank realises someone found him. 5:26 pm. Mikey wants to know what the fuck is going on with the two important people in his life. Gerard's a mess. He smokes and drinks, and he's a miserable piece of shit. He could never find a job and never had much friends. Though when Mikey called him one day, he offered Gerard a job at the All Boys Christian private school just a few blocks downtown. When he goes to work each week, a student in particular starts getting on his soft side even though their love is illegal. WARNING: there is a lot of mentions of drugs, smoking, alcohol and things of that sort in this story, along with religion and offensive comments about Christianity (and I don't hate the religion FYI) If this triggers you in some way then DO NOT read this story.
