This was the beginning. He did not know it yet, and how could he? He couldn't have fathomed the crazy events that were about to unfold. And yet, as he stood at the shoreline in the warm Florida air he could feel something. It could be chalked up to the weather, as they were on the cusp of a category five hurricane hitting the east end of the Florida shore. Or it could even be explained in his reason for making this impromptu trip. His world was crumbling long before the dominoes of fate had decided to fall.
