Do you ever wonder what happened after happily ever after? After the bridge went up and the barrier between world went down, after the proposals, after Brooke met Curella, after Brooke said goodbye to Peter pan, when the screen went dark. Evie had started a business, Jay was captain of the fencing team, and Carlos was taking being a future prince in strid. all had done well for themselves. all accept Mal who found herself cracking under the pressures of being the future queen, she couldn't take it she ran. The rest of the Vk's along with the the king and princess race after her.
