I really just wrote this story because I was feeling in the mood for angst, that's all this is. just angst.
Thor and Loki's roles in Endgame are switched.
Thor dies on the refugee ship, and Loki is forced to live with that failure.
the Avengers find and employ him since he knows Thanos from the inside out. he makes short work of their mission to Titan, and the time travel is a piece of cake for his mechivious tail.
however, when the final battle rolls around, Loki is the one to stop it. the third snap is not needed seeing as Loki, ripped Thanos apart with his bare hands, scaring away most of his troops, while an army amassed behind him.
five years have passed since then,
and Loki is not who he used to be.
everyone is alive in this just FYI!

The Sacrifice: Fallen | Loki | Book 2
"A man gone insane, after his wife left him for another man, set fire to his home and hanged himself." He tied my hands behind my back. "Go to hell." I choked slowly. The oxygen in air was decreasing rapidly. Caroline. "'Tis quite a shame. To destroy such a handsome creature. You should not have played with fire." Loki snarled, but his voice was deep and calm at the same time. "Now how is it, this feeling of having nothing? Oh, pardon, I forgot you do share my memories." In that moment, the entire house erupted in a cry of pain, to its fundament. A part of the ground broke in. There was only one place the pieces could fall into, and Caroline was down there! "C-Caroline - " My voice was hardly hearable. I was losing vision, saw shapes and flames dancing around me, blue at first but fading into a pitch black darkness. I forced my eyes open and my mind to work. "Do not worry. She will be safe with me, my friend."Concluida
When I Landed
Falling Wind gushes past me as I tumble through the void. Stars blur together in the never ending dark, and I can't help but feel cold. And it's not the kind of cold that fades with warmth. It's the kind that grips your heart, freezes your limbs, and quickens every breath. It forces you to take note of how trapped your brain is, how it has been locked away without a key. It's the kind of cold that reeks of fear filled pain. The kind that makes you long for death's arrival. Smack Slimy, rocky, stones slam into me. For a never ending moment I can't breathe, I can't move. Landing I've finally landed, and now I want nothing more than to keep falling. I want nothing more than to feel the familiar arrival of my death. - (This story is still under editing) Loki is sent to Midgard after the events of Ragnarok. In this story Frigga was only injured by the dark elves and Asgard was greatly damaged but still fixable. Losing Everything To A God
What do you do when rage consumes you, and killing no longer satisfies the hunger for control? For Loki, the answer came in a darker form-one fueled by the corrupted energy of the Mind Stone. During his first invasion of Earth, he claimed more than just cities. He took what he wanted, and she-our main heroine-was one of them. In this version of the world, things are far from perfect. Loki never died at the hands of Thanos. He earned the reluctant trust of the Avengers. He fought for Earth, not against it. And in the end, even a god as broken as he was... found something resembling peace. A fractured fairytale-where Loki gets his happy ending. And everyone does. Everyone except Thanos. ⸻ (18+) Explicit Content - Dark Themes Trigger warnings apply: non-consensual elements, violence, emotional manipulation. Reader discretion is advised. He was gone. Choked to death by the hand of the Mad Titan. Thor found himself unable to move on for every time he closed his eyes, the haunting image of Loki - struggling to breath air into his burning lungs - flooded through his head it rendered him awake with disturbing holler every single night. So Thor decided to cross the line and commit the forbidden, unholy crime. Anything to bring Loki back. That was, however, until the God of Thunder started to wonder if what he did was the biggest mistake, most selfish thing one could do to their own brother.
