From the start of his life, Oswald Richardson has faced many life-changing tragedies. Broken mentally and physically, he has next to no luck socializing in school or maintaining relationships with other people. This changes, however, when he gets into a fight with the new girl at school, Ochre Walkens. In the middle of the night, a mysterious creature from the forest attacks Ochre. Oswald is able to reach Ochre in time -- but at what cost? 
As his universe and sanity begin to crumble around him, and the death count rises, Oswald is left with a choice.
Run, or die.

Where do these creatures come from, and what do they have to do with an eyeless teenager who was left to rot?
