A murder mystery

Anne finally escapes school aka the hell hole. When she turns to go home, flashing lights catch her eye. someone has been murdered and the killer was watching, hiding.
But Anne was the last to see the victim alive. she was the last person alive in the school.
Anne has to solve this murder mystery on her own after the police give up, but how when there is no physical evidence to prove anything?
