Fifteen years ago the dead walked the earth. Most of Ireland is now a safe zone however, mini zombie outbreaks have been occurring for over ten years. The government effectively contained risk of infection. Until now.
Miles Green is a professional zombie cleaner, currently working off a five year sentence for a crime that haunts him.
Angela Quinn is an apprentice from one of the poorest sectors. Hoping to earn enough money to move her family to a higher sector.
Their current task. Taking a team outside the safezone where a horde has already killed off the Beta team.
Can a seasoned professional keep his apprentice alive in a hot zone?
Or will his ghosts continue to chase him like the growing number of dead.

Zombies were said to be impossible, that they'd never happen, well obviously whoever said that had underestimated human curiosity. It started with the melting of the Poles, which uncovered diseases that hadn't been seen in millennia. Obviously, when a flesh-eating parasitical virus was found, scientists in all their glory decided to study it, which led to the greatest calamity in human history. Warning: This is the original book 1, it is now considered more of a prelude/building character relationships arc than a book. This provides backstory and sets the foundation for the characters and their relationships.
