Seventeen-year-old, Japanese/Korean, Koharu Takahashi, harbors the guilt of living after her parents die In a car wreck, that nearly took her, as well. The evident scares and her hidden fame, has left her to lead a life of hiding behind masks.
She has become nearly invisible.
But wether she admits it- or not, secretly, down her her heart she wants to be visible.
After buying an ancient ring, that catches her eye in a rundown pawn shop, her life is flipped upside down. The world cannot help but notice her. Everyday, is a day filled with flocks of admires, party's, movie and business, company's trying to sponsor her and not to mention, the schools hottest guy trying to grab for her attention.
But then, after a series of coincidental happenings, related to the ring, began taking place, Koharu realizes she might have gotten more then she bargained for.
