The more and more I deal with Littles the more and more I come to understand that firm rules and boundaries must be applied, for their own safety as well as my sanity! Trying to be soft and flexible and have them behave well out of love and respect, simply doesn't work. There has to be a certain amount of stick with the carrot. All carrot all the time does not work with most young mentalities these days.
