Instead of destroying Luke's Jedi Temple, Ben Solo chooses to run away under the alias Kylo Ren. He can't trust his family and he fears the Dark Side too much to turn to Snoke. He runs as far as he can until The Force leads him to Jakku. There he meets a tough hopeful scavenger named Rey. Trusting The Force, he and Rey strike up a friendship and learn from each other. They have a nice routine as a scoundrel and a scavenger until a BB Unit rolls into their lives.
