Lauren Daring was always the quiet type. Things at school were never the best- she didn't have too many friends. She would get away from the world by dancing. After school, she would head up to the dance studio. Lauren was there so much, she had her own dance room. Her life was far from perfect, but she was content as long as she could dance. After one of her hardest days at school, she escapes to the studio, wanting to get away from everything. An unexpected meeting leads Lauren to discover things about herself, her life, and all the little details that you would look over. Her life becomes changed forever.

For multiple months, the main character has been hiding themselves from this boy, Tal, because they've been scared of what Tal may think of them. After a while of waiting and hiding, Tal finally notices the main character and automatically falls in love with them; they had love at first sight. Slowly this major change affected the main character, their everyday life, and experiences they haven't had before. Their friends leave them and the main character is left with Tal and a few of his friends.
