Note: They are humans instead of animals. Sorry to anyone who thought it would be like beastars or like we got teleported to their world. This is a reader insert and they are all human. Will include swears, triggering/disturbing tropics, might have some heated moments. Read at your discretion. I don't own any of the characters or songs used in the story. Any songs that I say belongs to the reader is just for the story. All rights to the songs and characters (expect y/n) go to the rightful owners. Also this story was inspired by @OneArtsyGamer03 ,please go check out her stories since they are amazing. This is my original story but there are some similarities to her's, so please go show her stories some love because she definitely deserves it. Runawaying from Redshore city wasn't my plan but I felt trapped in that city. You never could make it unless you had connections or were from a famous family and that's not how I wanted it to go. I love to sing and my best friend got me into dance. Now I love going with the flow and letting the music take over my body. I ran away from my home with nothing but my skateboard, guitar and a back full with anything I could shove inside of it. Now I live in a studio apartment, making my own songs with choreography for them and casually posting the audio of the song or the actual dance video on the internet because why not. I work at a skate shop to help pay my bills and to stay out of trouble with the police since I've gotten in trouble with them a couple of times for street performing without a license. But like my best friend used to say, "You're only in trouble if you get caught" and I never did, so now I just chat up with them to pass some time or to help someone. When I heard of a singing competition I thought it couldn't hurt. I mean I might be able to win a nice prize and get some more publicity for my music, which was more important to me then some cash prize but it would be nice.

TRAITOR Harlow Valesco was the new kid at William B. Travis Prep School, and she didn't expect to be surrounded by so many new friends -- they were her cousin, Tomika's friends, though. Something was off with them and their teacher, Mr. Finn, and Harlow wanted to figure out what it was. When she did, she and her new partner-in-crime, Riley Kwon, were determined to come out on top. What would happen when competition rose between Harlow and those she loved most? SUCKER Harlow Velasco and Riley Kwon were on probation with the band, School of Rock. After the Battle of the Bands bonanza, the two girls were stuck doing the lowly tasks for the band -- getting them coffee, tuning the guitars, and so many other mundane things. Harlow knew she needed to get on their good side to live her dreams, and maybe date the cute guy in the band. So what did she do? Live as a personal assistant to School of Rock or forge her own path in the band? WONDER Harlow Velasco's summer was one of boredom and songwriting, which was the usual way her summers always went. A new school year was upon Travis Prep School, and after the way the last school year went with the Battle of the Bands, entrance into the band, and a semi-failed relationship, Harlow was excited to lay low and write songs. Things went downhill once again when something unexpected happened. How many times would Harlow nearly wreck the band before she learned better? LOVER Harlow Velasco was excited for another summer, and she just wanted to relax after School of Rock revealed their identities at the Austin Music Festival. The past two years were hard for her and the band, showcasing the amount of heartache they went through just to get to the horrible place they were in. When things were looking bleak, an amazing opportunity arose, one that Harlow and the rest of School of Rock couldn't turn down. Would the band come back together in full force, or were they going to break up?

I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing but I'm totally winging it. (note: after writing the intro I've decided to make this story Inspired by a Dodie Clark song called she. I highly recommend listening to it as it will be the main theme of the story!! also it's a beautiful song with an amazing story!!) I've hardly seen any Chrissy x readers and it makes me sad as Chrissy is my favorite character! I simp for sure lol, anyways this is a femreader just a heads up! (TW: possible internalized homophobia, traumatic events, mention of eating disorders, homophobia, mentions of sex and sexualization (possible nsfw), mentions of religious trauma, depression (low self esteem), anxiety, swearing, homophobic slurs, mentions of suicide, mentions of murder, mentions of death) Intro: Chrissy Cunningham, the queen of Hawkins High, and cheerleader. We use to be friends in middle school, when my mom forced me to do cheer. She made me feel less weird, not like it matters, being a girl who likes girls makes me the schools, uh, scratch that, the TOWNS, outcast. Girls don't wanna be around me and guys try to "be the guy who fixes" me, if they don't sexualize the fact that I am gay. I love Chrissy, but she's the queen, and I'm just Y/N, the antichrist, the abomination, the outcast. Shes also straight and dating Jason, who she's too good for! she's sweet, and kind, and cares about those around her, while Jason is an asshole who bullies absolutely everyone who is different from the social norms. * * * she tastes like birthday cake, storytime, and fall........ but to her I taste of nothing at all.... -Dodie Clark * * *

If you’re anything like Darcy Watson, you don’t have time to read this. Life was challenging enough trying to make her way unnoticed through Year 9, before Darcy got involved with Becca Martin’s band. Darcy has many talents, the most obvious being able to play flute to a distinction standard. When you want to be a professional musician, every minute counts and Darcy is rapidly running out of time. Before she was invited to join Becca’s band, all Darcy had to worry about was practicing her flute, minding her special need’s brother David, and getting good grades in every lesson (even if Mr. Renley’s food collection in his beard was distracting). Getting up early every morning to straighten her hair, ignoring a stream of cyber abuse on Facebook, being forced to go on a date with the most clueless boy in Sopwell Secondary School, moderating arguments between her band members, Becca, Holly and Lauren the Queen of the Evil Eye; Darcy could manage all of this if she didn’t have to choose between performing at Sopwell’s Got Talent with her new friends, or performing at the High Achiever’s Ceremony at the Queen Elizabeth Hall i, for her parents. Darcy may be only 13 years old, but she wants to be so much more than “just” a girl. Why does she have to have boyfriend? Why are all the songs for girls about nothing other than being obsessed by some guy? Why is music defined by gender? Can you be talented at more than one thing? Darcy has to give a performance of a lifetime, but which one will she choose? There is only one way to find out.
