A Debt Collector is one who roams the world with a list and returns with a bag of souls, bringing them to their judgement. Saviour had resigned himself to his work, only waiting for the moment his debt is repaid but his monotonous life is brought into disarray by the optimistic Empathizer Hope who falls sick after trying to escape her duty. Hope will need to feed on souls to recover or she'll continue to expiry and never be reborn. Will Saviour choose to save Hope at the risk of being caught and ending the same as her or will he venture forth into the world? Killing those whose time has not been decreed?

"Help me raise some hell, Cammie, and you can get your soul back." Grim reapers are skeletal figures in black robes. That's what they are in movies, anyways. But in real life, they used to be people. Every supernatural creature knows to stay out of their way, because you don't mess with death. Or, at least they used to. Cammie isn't anything other than an ordinary girl who makes a mistake at a party. But her death leads to her meeting one of the reapers upset with the current state of affairs, and her life instantly gets more dangerous. While she's trailing behind this eccentric girl who claims to own her soul, she meets the very vampire that killed her- and he's not the only one who's taken an interest in her. The supernatural world is gearing up for war, and Cammie is one of the only ones with the chance to choose what side she wants to be on. Or, so she thinks.
