"Their recurrent threats to make things worse if a soul knew what she was passing through changed nothing even when she never told anyone. Her daily pleas and cries fell on deaf ears as they continued hurting her physically and emotionally."

WELCOME TO THE JOURNEY OF SELF RECOVERY!

Meet Awelewa Oluwadamilare, an insecure Nigerian teenager, who was basically going through what most teenagers her age did. The quest to find herself in an unhealthy, stereotypical and stigmatized world is a journey that took and will take mental skills, a spirit of love, a heart of courage and a little faith.

A society where feeling good enough and beautiful lies in whatever "acceptable" feature available. Apparently, when you don't have one, you're likely to face a lot of unnecessary bullloggers(I made the word😂) which can be dentrimental to ones personality and esteem.

This was her story.

With her body as her biggest insecurity, she fights battles of never ending bulling and a struggles of an inevitable heartbreak.

She finally finds that true love she has been looking for... Something or someone she never expected...

"So, what do you want me to do about it?" he asks, like he's done nothing wrong. "You're supposed to say sorry," I say in a duh tone. "And why should I?" "Because that's what people with manners do." "I know that, but you don't deserve a sorry from me." "Wow. And why is that?" "Because black bitches like you don't deserve it," he says with a sneer. "I have told you times without number to stop calling me that," I say, angry at his insults. "Make me," Ethan says, taking a dangerous step closer. I don't say anything but hiss and walk past him.
