Written by ZombieofTheWest, the Alpha Project: Axis stars a new team of superhumans. After the events of the Alpha Project: Genesis, the United Nations decided to create their own government-sanctioned team of superhuman soldiers. Among the ranks are Cole Kohn, a German gangster turned pyrotechnic; and Riku, a shapeshifting ninja. These two and many more will come together to deal with the new threats created by the virus, which has now spread across the globe.

In an alternative universe, the tension between the Russians and Americans lasts much longer than through the 1980s. In fact, after years of experimenting, the Russian government has finally created young, living super soldiers. Their scientists have made breakthroughs in neurobiology, the structure of human DNA, and embryology that allows them to miraculously create several human traits together and then nurture and grow these artificial humans in an incubation chamber. These two start their journey in Russia, manage to make it to France, and find their final destination the United States of America, which they understand is the home of the free and the brave. However, they learn reality is not always what it seems. Join Nick and Nikki as they seek to live a normal life in America, despite everything about them and the life they live being everything but normal.
