It was a cold evening. Me and a couple of my friends were sitting on a front porch, drinking some beer and...i'll admit. We got a bit stoned. It was a casual hangout. nothing too special. The nights were slowly getting longer and autumn was just around the corner. Half of September had already passed and the weather got worse by the day. So...anyway. We were hanging out on a cool thursday evening and having fun. The conversation was usually about work, women or our hobbies since all 3 of us are in our twenties.
"Did you two hear that facebook deleted the area 51 storming event." Said Kyle.
"Yeah...like it was ever going to happen...}

I've also finished writing "The Presence." It's a ghost story with my kind of twist and takes place at the same time as my first two stories and If you're a Hunted One reader, you may find the ending interesting... I also have a story called "Return of the Black Eyed Children " It's based on the legend. (Look it up on Google) My latest is called "Vengeful Spirits." Sweet Dreams
Monsters are everywhere, but the human ones are the worst. At least the Creatures of the Night don't kid almost families, friends, neighbors, coworkers. Once reborn they live in the night. Sure, they do all of the same twisted things that humans do to one another, but they don't hide who they are. When you see them you know death is coming. You can predict the sick things they will do to you. But when the monster looks human, you're blindsided. One minute you're in love with a guy and the next he's slitting your throat. Trust me, I speak from experience. Gruesome things that use to make me sick now makes my stomach flutter in joy. I traded charming grins and blue eyes for carved smilies and orbs of onyx. I traded sunlight for the glow of the moon. I gave up living amongst humans for creatures of the night. And I wouldn't go back for anything in the world. I am finally home. I've spent so much time running from monsters that it's my turn to do the chasing. Sweet Dreams...
One by one
It wasn't very difficult to plan out my first victim. I watched them all day, studied their movements, listened to their conversations, and watched them fall asleep. The funny thing about it was that I was just a few feet away from them. But how could they have known? Why would they have to be scared for their lives when they were oblivious to how fast I could end them? When all goes wrong, nothing else can go right. A last week school field trip could cost you your life. But why think that way when the trip has yet to begin. The Story of Midnight
"Who's out there?" One of the men yelled. Of course only silence met them. I remained quiet and waited for the group to start moving again. "Maybe it was just an animal." Someone whispered. The person, who I assumed was the captain of the small squad, signaled for them to walk again. They clearly showed fear as they kept going; brandishing their weapons to guard themselves with. "Two are holding lanterns. I'll tell you when you're too close to them." I heard my friend whisper in my ear. I followed the men as I picked up another branch and waited for the right time to break it. They continued to walk through the forest, turning their heads in every direction as if an animal might lunge at them and rip their throats out. I guess in a way I was going to do that. "Go back a few feet." My friend whispered. I carefully distanced myself from the group and waited. "Where is she?" I quickly snapped the stick as soon as he finished asking the question. They stopped and two soldiers raised their lanterns to shine its light in the darkness. I quickly hid behind a tree before both of them turned where I was. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind. At nine years old, Silver decided to leave her village for the forest. Since then, she's been hunted; everyday is a fight for her life, every breath she takes could be her last, but she's determined to stay alive. Her life isn't the kind anyone would want to live but she's managed to survive this long so, what's a few more years?Complete

"Are you old enough to be here?" The 18-year-old asked, and Hailey laughed. "Yeah. Of course, look can we just have two light beers?" Hailey asked looking at the desserts. "Well, I'm supposed to id, but I don't get paid enough for this." He rolls his eyes sliding the beers over. "Enjoy!" He groans cleaning off the counter and assisting the next customer. We walk over to a small booth and sit down. Hailey slides the beers over to me and I open one. I start to lift it and then set it back on the table. "Um... Hailey are we old enough for this?" she nods so I take a sip. It was disgusting but I felt like I should drink more so I drank the rest. Hailey had already gone to order more, and I stumbled towards her. A man grabbed me dragging me towards the back door and Hailey ran over trying to grab me. She screamed trying to get people to help but they were all distracted. The man stuck something in my arm and threw me in a van. He shut the door and Hailey ran inside to call the police. They drove past a single tall scraggly tree on top of a hill shrouded in mist. The creepy tree was full of screaming crows. How could she hear them from inside the bus when she couldn't even seem to hear the voices of the kids around her? Geez, that was an awfully freaking dark image. She shivered and looked away. What did they call a group of crows again? Right, a murder of crows. Perfect. The weather was certainly the only thing that was typical these days, although you'd never know it by looking around the bus at most of the kids as they sat joking and gossiping with each other just like they had before... before that day everything had changed.
