It was a cold evening. Me and a couple of my friends were sitting on a front porch, drinking some beer and...i'll admit. We got a bit stoned. It was a casual hangout. nothing too special. The nights were slowly getting longer and autumn was just around the corner. Half of September had already passed and the weather got worse by the day. So...anyway. We were hanging out on a cool thursday evening and having fun. The conversation was usually about work, women or our hobbies since all 3 of us are in our twenties.
"Did you two hear that facebook deleted the area 51 storming event." Said Kyle.
"Yeah...like it was ever going to happen...}

"Are you old enough to be here?" The 18-year-old asked, and Hailey laughed. "Yeah. Of course, look can we just have two light beers?" Hailey asked looking at the desserts. "Well, I'm supposed to id, but I don't get paid enough for this." He rolls his eyes sliding the beers over. "Enjoy!" He groans cleaning off the counter and assisting the next customer. We walk over to a small booth and sit down. Hailey slides the beers over to me and I open one. I start to lift it and then set it back on the table. "Um... Hailey are we old enough for this?" she nods so I take a sip. It was disgusting but I felt like I should drink more so I drank the rest. Hailey had already gone to order more, and I stumbled towards her. A man grabbed me dragging me towards the back door and Hailey ran over trying to grab me. She screamed trying to get people to help but they were all distracted. The man stuck something in my arm and threw me in a van. He shut the door and Hailey ran inside to call the police. Sweet Dreams
Monsters are everywhere, but the human ones are the worst. At least the Creatures of the Night don't kid almost families, friends, neighbors, coworkers. Once reborn they live in the night. Sure, they do all of the same twisted things that humans do to one another, but they don't hide who they are. When you see them you know death is coming. You can predict the sick things they will do to you. But when the monster looks human, you're blindsided. One minute you're in love with a guy and the next he's slitting your throat. Trust me, I speak from experience. Gruesome things that use to make me sick now makes my stomach flutter in joy. I traded charming grins and blue eyes for carved smilies and orbs of onyx. I traded sunlight for the glow of the moon. I gave up living amongst humans for creatures of the night. And I wouldn't go back for anything in the world. I am finally home. I've spent so much time running from monsters that it's my turn to do the chasing. Sweet Dreams...

It wasn't very difficult to plan out my first victim. I watched them all day, studied their movements, listened to their conversations, and watched them fall asleep. "Who's out there?" One of the men yelled. Of course only silence met them. I remained quiet and waited for the group to start moving again. "Maybe it was just an animal." Someone whispered. "Two are holding lanterns. I'll tell you when you're too close to them." I heard my friend whisper in my ear. I followed the men as I picked up another branch and waited for the right time to break it. They continued to walk through the forest, turning their heads in every direction as if an animal might lunge at them and rip their throats out. I guess in a way I was going to do that. "Go back a few feet." My friend whispered. I carefully distanced myself from the group and waited. "Where is she?" I quickly snapped the stick as soon as he finished asking the question. They stopped and two soldiers raised their lanterns to shine its light in the darkness. I quickly hid behind a tree before both of them turned where I was. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind.
