Off we walk through nettles and thorns
seeing views and thinking
"this is why we were born"
traveling for miles with our closest friend
finding a rule that we could maybe bend
looking out for torch lights and a dog
trying to get photos with that morning fog
seeing graffiti that makes us laugh
well we stumble across the un-level path
some places a success and some a waste
but it's the friends and new people we meet along the way.
broken floor boards and creaking stairs
that building looks unstable but who really cares
gripping our gear tight in our hands
trying to find angles only a photographer understands
traveling through a village or town
"wait that building looks boarded up slow down"
late at night or early morning
we don't stop
and that is urban exploring

Serenus - Sarcastic Newcomer Edition
So, here we are, all of us, lost in this mystical realm with zero memory of where we came from. It's like we all took the world's worst vacation, and now nobody can find their way back home. And guess what we have to guide us? A poem. Because why bother with maps or instructions when you can have cryptic, poetic nonsense? It's almost like Serenus wants us to play a twisted game of "figure it out before you die." Now, the world itself is a total trip. It's a magical land where anything is possible, except, apparently, for things making sense. But don't let the pretty flowers and magical buffets fool you-something's not quite right in this enchanted Eden. You've got all these resources lying around just begging to be used for peace, justice, and all those other warm, fuzzy ideals. It's like someone set up the perfect civilization starter kit, but forgot to mention that some of these folks are dead set on turning this dreamland into their own personal dystopia. And with their magical abilities, they're like toddlers wielding chainsaws-adorably dangerous, but mostly just dangerous. Meanwhile, me and my merry band of misfit friends are stuck trying to save this world from self-destruction. Because apparently, we're the only ones who read the brochure about this place being a "civilized society based on values." And while we're at it, I'm also on a little side quest to answer the age-old question: Who am I? It's not like I have bigger things to worry about, like, I don't know, preventing magical Armageddon or anything. With a charming mix of wit, sarcasm, and a healthy dose of "what-the-heck-is-going-on," the story of Serenus follows our nameless protagonist as they unravel the mysteries of this strange land, all while trying to avoid becoming dino-chow or the latest victim of a magical mishap. It's a tale of self-discovery, magical frisking, and just trying to survive another day in this oh-so-serene-and completely crazy-world.Complete

Metaphors In The Dancefloor
The walk of adulthood has 3 rules. You can't back out. You have to finish. And most importantly of all, you must survive it. Walking into college is much easier when your past isn't kissing you goodbye. All your life has come up to this. Elementary prepares you for middle school. Middle school teaches you something close to the misery of high school. High school is the last acceptable happiness you will ever have. High school was the preview of college. If you eat all your popcorn in the preview, being in the movies won't reach up to the standards. If your popcorn fell, you're done. If you didn't buy the popcorn, you'll be stealing it from your friend. After all, this is FIU. Most of the people here left their lives back wherever their home was. But, the real question is did they leave themselves?Complete

There is a community of the spirit. Join it, and feel the delight of walking in the noisy street, and being the noise. Drink all your passion, and be a disgrace. Close both eyes to see with the other eye. Open your hands, if you want to be held. Sit down in this circle. Quit acting like a wolf, and feel the shepherd's love filling you. At night, your beloved wanders. Don't accept consolations. Close your mouth against food. Taste the food. You moan, "She left me." "He left me." Twenty more will come. Be empty of worrying. Think of who created thought! Why do you stay in prison when the door is so wide open? Move outside the tangle of fear-thinking. Live in silence. Flow down and down in always widening rings of being. There's a strange frenzy in my head, of birds, flying, each particle circulating on its own. Is the one I love everywhere? Drunks fear the police, but the police are drunk too. People in this town love them both like different chess pieces. ----------------------------------- All things that we hide in our hearts eat us alive. This book is - full of emotions, love, care and agitation. Well, you need to read this to know what's in. The Days With No Sun
Sometimes we fear truth over reality. But things get dark and heavy and we play the blame game. We end up hurting others or ourselves even. We don't think before we act or we don't say before we do. This is the evolution of my madness. A cluster of rants and thoughts and poems for you guys.
