Watertown Prep is prepared for siren attacks. Thay is prepared if anything goes near them. They have drills, they have locked doors and plants in every hall and classroom in case they get flooded. But nobody, not even Watertown Prep, is ready for what's next.
Lizzie, a 10th grader at Watertown, isn't prepared either. Since the attack in 1946, she thinks there won't be another attack. She goes through the drills even when she can't stand the memory of her father being eaten alive by a seductive siren, leaving her mother hopeless.
Kayt is the stereotypical class clown. At times of embarrassment, she just crach\ks a joke. But when she loses the one boy she is in love with, she is ready to get revenge on the sirens.
Chris is a transgender girl trying to live life to the fullest. Being picked on at shcool is one thing, butafter relizing her brother is falling fo a siren she must get him out of the relationship. As things get harder, Chris doesn't know who to turn to so is brought to Watertown to live with her uncle, a fisherman.
Watertown Prep and the rest of the world are in for it- but one mistake can save thousands and one choice can kill more.
