"Yes?" He asks looking up from his book.
"Have you ever thought about the fact that saying the phrase I'll see you in court is the grown up version of I'm telling my mom?"

Loki and you sat and watched a comedy together as the guy on the screen suddenly tripped over nothing, Loki leans over and comments. "He needs some milk..." you started to tear up, "did I do it wrong?" He asks. "No you're absolutely perfect, my baby's my you're growing up..."

"If I'm not allowed rule on Asgard, then I'll rule here." My eyebrows knitted together in desperation. "Loki, pleas-" My plea was cut shot as a burst of energy and the distinctive clang of metal on metal pushed me over into the god of mischief. We stumbled backwards until I laid on his chest and he grunted from the sudden impact. "Thor." I cursed under my breath. "Sorry..." I began lifting myself off of his body. I narrowed my gaze and quickly stood to rush into Thor's aid, ignoring his dejected expression. I was about to leap off the cliff side when I heard four words that had me frozen in my place unlike anything my powers could do. The curtain around the hospital bed slides open to reveal an African American man with warm eyes. The man behind him catches my eye, his eyes a bright blue with a crown of golden hair. Our eyes meet and his crystal blue ones widen. Déjà vu hits me like a truck and my mind bounces back to a fuzzy night a couple of months ago full of hard liquor. While I can't remember many things from that night, I do remember those blue eyes vividly. My lips pop open and a blush tints my cheeks as well as his.
