Siaphore, The Magic Academy Literate Roleplay

This academy was founded in 1508, in Northern Ireland in order to help teenagers develop their magical talents in a place of non judgement. It used to be a place of prestige, and not many students were accepted. However, as the population of people born with magical prowess grew, they lowered their requirements in order to encourage experimenting and exploring the Different schools of Magic. These Abjuration: Spells that protect, block, banish, or heal. An abjuration specialist is called an abjurer.

Conjuration: Spells that bring creatures or materials to the caster. A conjuration specialist is called a conjurer.

Divination: Spells that reveal information. A divination specialist is called a diviner.

Enchantment: Spells that imbue the recipient with some property or grant the caster power over another being. An enchantment specialist is called an enchanter.

Evocation: Spells that manipulate energy or are elemental in nature. All elemental magics are classified as evocation. An evocation specialist is called an evoker.

Illusion: Spells that alter perception or create false images. An illusion specialist is called an illusionist.

Transmutation: Spells that transform the recipient physically or change its properties in a more subtle way. A transmutation specialist is called a transmuter.

Most students Specialize in one school, to eventually master it. However, the school has made exceptions before... except in the case of necromancy. The art of Creating the living dead and commanding them. This dark and forbidden art is severally punished at this school, and will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
