Jason Kent lives under the wide cast shadow of The Man of Steel. Balancing school, friends and a secret identity becomes more and more difficult. His growing frustrations of not living up to an impossible standard causes tensions to rise between him and his father. His only security seems to be his budding relationship with the beautiful new girl. His limits and spirit are tested as new abilities emerge, and enemies grow relentless to find the infamous Son of Steel.
The ever growing pressure to become a hero hinders Jason from seeing the threat right under his nose, until it's too late.

Have you ever wondered what it's like being the only Kryptonian on earth without powers? It sucks. I'm Marinette Martha Kent. Yup that's right I'm the daughter of the man of steel....and I mostly take after my mom, so I'm utterly completely human. The worst part of being my father's daughter is I can't be a hero.
