Jason Kent lives under the wide cast shadow of The Man of Steel. Balancing school, friends and a secret identity becomes more and more difficult. His growing frustrations of not living up to an impossible standard causes tensions to rise between him and his father. His only security seems to be his budding relationship with the beautiful new girl. His limits and spirit are tested as new abilities emerge, and enemies grow relentless to find the infamous Son of Steel.
The ever growing pressure to become a hero hinders Jason from seeing the threat right under his nose, until it's too late.

His excuse is I don't have powers while there are heroes such as Green Arrow and Batman. An alien with no powers equals a worthless alien, and the entire justice league knows it to after all my father said so. At least I have my brothers who believe in me...
