Ang "Marahuyo: Ang Kontinente" ay ang una sa tatlong storya na napalibot sa buhay ng mga Homo valens, isang species na malaki ang pagkakatulad sa modernong tao na Homo sapiens ngunit mas malakas at may mga kakayahan na hindi kaya ng pangkaraniwang tao.
	Labing isang taon ang nakalipas matapos ang pagsabog sa Kabisera ng Emperyo ng Tòb-asan: hindi pa man naghihilum ang sugat ng trahedya ay may bago na namang banta hindi lang sa emperyo ng mga Tòb pero pati na rin sa buong Silangang Kontinente ng mga Homo valens na Orientem. Bilang utang na loob sa maharlika ng mga Tòb, pumayag ang hari ng Hayes na hanapin ang tatlong tagapagmana sa trono ng emperyo. Ipinadala niya ang kanyang dalawang prinsipeng apo kasama ang mga represante ng dalawa pang bansa sa teritoryo ng mga Homo sapiens na pinaniniwalaang pinagtaguan ng isa sa tatlong tagamana. Hindi pa man sila nakakarating ay inatake sila ng mga nakamaskarang grupo. Marahuyo(rahuyo), isang hindi popular na tagalog na salita na ibig sabihin ay mabighani o mahalina.
