John Laurens is a classic young High School Dropout. He's been working at Mt. Vernon Pub and Bar since he tried to get into the universety of South Carolina and failed. After a year of working there by the side of Laffayette and Hercules, he met Alexander Hamilton, also trying to earn some money to get into Kings College, after his scholarship was sabotaged by his archnemisis. John and Alex become fast friends, sharing a love and appreciation for musicals. But when Alex gets the money he needs and is prepared to leave, John figures out he likes him as more than a friend.
