This story is set one year after Drake Walker and the Main Character (Bragnae Bennett) of The Royal Romance get married. Check in with the Duke & Duchess of Valtoria one year into their marriage as they adjust to life in their new roles, experience new things with their friends, deal with internal conflict, and grow their family.

I began writing this series before The Royal Heir was released. TRC takes place as if the Royal Heir never happened. I wanted to imagine the happily ever afterward of Drake and Bragnae, and what they might experience as a newly married couple and in their new roles of nobility, as well as to get to know a little bit more of Bragnae's background in the story as we did not have a lot of these details in the original series (The Royal Romance). Our favorite characters from The Royal Romance are U.S. citizens in this Alternate Universe, and are involved in the military life. In this series, the characters will be members/spouses of the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Air Force. You will follow their lives as they are stationed in Okinawa, Japan. I am SO excited about this series! I served in the U.S. Air Force myself, as well as my husband served in the U.S. Marine Corps. A lot of what is written in this FanFic series will be based on real-life military standards and ways of life, but some of it will be fiction. My husband was actually stationed in Okinawa, Japan several years ago, so a lot of my knowledge and ideas for this story will be "researched" through him, as well as my own knowledge and experiences in the military. I am air lifting our precious characters out of Cordonia and transforming them into U.S. born citizens who proudly serve the U.S. military. The characters may stray a bit from canon, specifically "Prince/King Liam". The military mindset/personality can be very different, especially in contrast to how the characters are in The Royal Romance. In this series, I have them growing up as Americans. They will not be exactly as you know them, however, I will be sticking to their personalities as much as possible. Always Faithful will involve a lot issues that many military members and their spouses go through. It is not my intention to make this series "dark", but it will not always be sunshine and rainbows. This series is for mature audiences only.
