Just a thought I had that I expanded into a story. A critique of Buddhism set as the tale of a hunter tracking an injured buck through a forest. Any feedback is welcome because I'm completely new to this

Don't Fear the Unknown
It's been years since the collapse. Countless lives lost, history, and cultures forgotten to the horrors we live today. As it stands now, only a fraction of the settlements survived since the start of the war against the monsters described outside the wall that protects us. The only way to move around the world is by air. The seas became deadly with mutated wildlife and the ground too dangerous because of the monsters that roam our once great cities. Now its time to make a change join the Atlas and find a way to aid humanity and Stand againts anything that might threaten us and find a way to live with a new speacies. Lost treasures (Furry x male human)
This is my first story, and I need to learn how this works... so go easy on me. And I don't own any of the art or cover art used in the story. Credit goes to the artist. You don't travel much, but when you're a kid that's traveling over to their Aunt's house temporarily because of your traveling parents, you meet a few of unusual friends along the way, and get into a bit of shenanigans of your own too with some kid in a red cap. You bond and be cool friends, and sure some things are odd, but nothing can possibly go wrong! Could things get any better?
