Roman and Virgil, two complete strangers, meet at a bar by pure luck. After a drunken Roman convinces Virgil to drive him home, Virgil learns something about Roman he was definitely not meant to know. The two go on a mission to bring justice to the one who hurt Roman, and gain feelings for the other along the way. (Sorry I'm bad at descriptions. Human AU by the way. The cover art was a drawing base I used, unfortunately, I don't know who made the base, but it's technically only half mine, so yeah)

Fond nonetheless. They're as close as he'd like them to be. Which is very, very close. A job, where he gets to see that one cute coworker every day, and they can trade snarky comments about whatever sparks their interest that day. Nothing like handing someone a hot coffee while a hot guy whispers hot takes in your ear. A secret, double life, fighting the supervillain Illusion. Who, it just so happens, has the most adorable smile and laugh and eyes and - superheroes were not supposed to be attracted to the very people trying to hurt their city, right? Nor were they supposed to help them defend it against an even worse, more deadly one. Roman Trente has, in summary, the perfect life. Roman is forced to face the skeletons in his closet, the new kid in town takes a liking to Patton, and both Virgil and Logan struggle to maintain control of themselves and their feelings as they are flung out of their comfort zones. One introvert plus one extrovert and a quarantine order forcing them to stay in an apartment for a unknown amount of time is a recipe for disaster. Or so Virgil thinks. He's a quiet college student who lives an apartment close to campus because he rather not risk random placement. When his friend is looking for another roommate he gracefully accepts. After almost two years of living with the same people, he has some strong opinions. One of those is how much he dislikes Roman. Now he's stuck with him in a three bedroom apartment and he doesn't even have the buffers there to prevent arguments. After a few weeks, though is he truly feeling the same way? Has he always hated Roman or was he just trying to avoid his actual feelings about his roommate? *This is a AU that has to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic and the quarantine situation, it won't have anything too bad about the disease but it will have mentions of it. They are also in college so there might be adult situations and mentions of alcohol.
