Inevitably destined to crash together.

During the invasion, Katara is separated from the group and is taken prisoner along with the adults. Zuko, when finally deciding to follow his heart and help the avatar, realizes to prove himself to the Avatar he must save Katara and return her to them. So he doesn't yet confront his father and continues to pretend to be the perfect prince, waiting for the moment he can escape with the Avatar's waterbending teacher. 

But Azula has other plans, intending to extract all the information she can from Katara she starts to play a dangerous mind game. Slowly starting to try and twist Katara's perspective.

Katara, surrounded by enemies, makes a plan of her own: to seduce the Fire Prince. Then kill him.
