Retelling of the story pride and prejudice. " It is a truth universally acknowledged , that a girl in possession of too many pride and prejudice books , must end up in the book being a character she hates. " I love pride and prejudice, and read lots of retelling of that book and thought to write one myself. The character Caroline Bingley is not a favorite of most the readers... Including me. But I imagined what if someone ended up being Caroline of that book. Will they change her character ? Will something interesting happen from it ? , My character Lizzy hills loves to read pride and prejudice and she ended up in the novel being Caroline Bingley... What would happen next ? I will add few lines from the original text to have the fun of it , some scenes will be totally changed for the enjoyment. In this modern story, Elizabeth Bennet comes from a small town in Saskatchewan, Canada. She has recently been given the opportunity to study abroad but there is a small problem. She has to deal with the prideful Mr.Darcy. Will he overcome his pride? And will she get over her own prejudice? This story is loosely based on the book. Mr.Wickam does not have a big part. Pride And Prejudice, The Sequel
I have just finished reading Pride and Prejudice for the 100th time, and I really wanted to see how Elizabeth and Darcy handle their married life, so I decided to write my own sequel. This is just to satisfy my own wild side, I have never been to Great Britain (but I would love to!), and I know very little of the 19th century traditions. *I appreciate all the corrections I get on the culture/timeline/location/language/plotline dearly and would do my best to fix my mistakes in the story.
