I will no longer be updating this guide. I'm leaving it up in case it will continue to be helpful to anyone in the future. People have asked me writing tips, Wattpad tips, and whatever. This is some of that advice I give them. Keep in mind most of this is my opinion in addition to things other people have taught me to do and not to do. It is by no means 100% to be followed but only a guide to get you thinking. The beauty of writing is that there is no one correct answer. Welcome to Undiscovered Gems Competition (UGC)! I love to help writers get a second hand view of their work. I feel that there is so much published work on Wattpad that deserves to be acknowledged but people a) Don't have the time b) Don't read new books with low reads or c) Can't find them. I've read so many undiscovered books here and I usually comment on how to improve and what is done well. I know that new stories may not be continued or people may not have confidence in themselves and sometimes I feel my comments go unnoticed. Therefore, I would have made a competition where undiscovered writers get a chance to be acknowledged through 'The Undiscovered Gems Competition' and get some feedback that they, themselves, are looking for. Silly Points of Note
Silly Points of NOTE is a project I plan to use wattpad to complete. I have already uploaded it on preorder on smashwords but the manuscript is yet to be finished. I have fixed a date for it to be published and the plan is to make sure the manuscript is done before the release date. *Kindly share the chapters that speaks to you (using the social icons)* I will be posting each "chapter" (they are individual essays) on wattpad.com as I have them written. I intend posting at least 4 every week (hopefully, I would meet my target before the deadline).
