I'm Bryan Rivers, popular boy at Cambridge High. I'm a football player, jock, most popular guy at school, and gay. I have my heart set on Nico di Angelo. He's really hot (the only word I could find possible to describe him), and a lot smarter than me, but he probably likes some girl…. Nico always wears a black shirt, black ripped skinny jeans, a black leather jacket, black high tops, a skull ring, and a skull necklace. He has naturally wavy black hair that covers his eyes, pale skin, and dark brown eyes that gleam like a mad man. Then there's me. I have dirty blonde hair and emerald green eyes that change to icy blue. I usually wear a blue muscle tee, ripped skinny jeans, and high tops. Though Nico looks way better in skinny jeans, and that's saying something.

Nico di Angelo is finally happy. He's learning to accept himself for his sexuality and as a son of Hades. After everything horrible that has happened to him, he's slowly getting better with the help of Will and his friends. Will Solace finally got the boy of his dreams. In this sequel to Out of the Shadows, Nico sees familiar faces and revisits past places, but at least this time he has Will along for the ride. Nico Di Angelo's school is taking the whole junior year on a trip to Greece. Following the no gender mingling school policy, Nico groups with his best buds Percy Jackson and Jason Grace. All is well and good before Will Solace joins their bubble. Nico gets a strange, tingly, ticklish feeling in his stomach when he's around Will. It doesn't help when they have to pair off to explore the Parthenon and Percy and Jason take off, leaving Nico alone with Will. It also doesn't help when the two boys decide to share a bed at the hotels.
