Have you ever had a book that you meant the absolute world to you? One you would read over and over again just because you loved it so much? What would you do if you suddenly had the opportunity to explore the world you loved so much? To be able to meet all of the characters you dreamed of somehow meeting. Would you take the leap? Even if you didn't know how you'd get home?

Well for better or for worse, Casey Bennett got that chance when he fell into the world of "The Queen's Riders". His entrance into his beloved book may not have been done willingly nor was it very smooth, but he is there nonetheless. His only clue to getting home lies at the end of the story. However, there's a catch, the story he knows so well and the story unfolding in front of him are slightly different. Given a power that had been hidden away for 500 years, Casey must find a way to limit these differences in order to bring about the ending written in his book. A task made even more difficult by the fact that his own presence is already bringing about changes.

With the help of the story's protagonists, he must navigate through this world that is both familiar and completely alien if he has any hope of going home.

What would you do if you were suddenly thrown powers befitting a God more than any mortal? Would you use them to better yourself, your community and society? Or would you wreak havoc upon our world? Or would you instead look far beyond our reality and breakthrough the construction for something brand new? A new world, all to yourself that too. That's what happened, and it was in the drizzle whilst feeding the pest that had wrecked havoc upon his humble backyard shack that he found a mystery larger than anyone can comprehend, an artifact immune to the irreversible corrosion of time, quite ironic that an unbreakable artifact fell upon his hands by accident, a man two steps away from death itself. Miguel didn't know at that time about how much of an effect the scroll would have upon his life, but whatever happens; he's now sure it'll be a merry one, either in this world, or the other one. Meanwhile in the world he had created, soft, peaceful and lush forests cover most areas of the continent with a very sparse population density, however Reggasia is anything but peaceful; and sparse. Reggasia is almost like another country to the rest of the people in the old kingdom, because it is; despite being the new capital district of culture it is now bleeding like a stuck pig, it's people starving and the wars the noblesse classes are waging aren't making anything better. As such, a greed driven young rogue takes things into his own hands and goes onto a journey that will take him across the entire district when his country and people are in danger, but will he be able to stop the conspiring nobles from taking over the entire continent? Or will his heart be pierced by the very same blade he gave unto this world seventeen hundred years ago? [#7 World Building.]

BOOK ONE: Having enough courage to run through the woods and away from the people who convinced me they were saving me was not how I believed I'd spend my day. Yet, there I went escaping from the only place I knew existed in the world. Being held captive was too much for me, especially when these people wouldn't tell me who they were or even who I was. The first moment in my life I recall very clearly. I awoke in a dark room, with recollection of everything that happened in the world except for one thing. I had no memory of myself existing, I didn't know where I was or why these men kept me from leaving. Days after I first woke I asked plenty of questions, and yet none of them were answered. The only thing I learned was that I was not allowed outside because the woods heald the most powerful magic on the planet, the most dangerous magic. It was more than just bad men and curiosity about the forest that got me to leave, it was a pull towards something; towards magic. Once I was in the forest turning back was never an option, so I put it in my head that I'd keep walking until I found a civilization or a nice paved road that would lead to safety. But that never happened because the forest has a force living through it. Believing that the forest held something strange was the easy part but experiencing it myself was something totally different. I didn't expect anything normal but I didn't expect to be completly engulfed into the forest. I was led by an unknown presence that made me truly believe it was a living being, and in fact it is. I was innocent then, but now I know that anything can be hidden under a small platform in the woods with a secret bigger than the world itself. I was given life that day, until it all ended months later; the day I took my last breath.

"Everyone loves a good fantasy, but my life was turned upside down by one." What would you do if you had the ability to control the air? How about if you were suddenly brought to a world where, despite your powers, you're at the bottom of the food chain? On a fateful night, Max Walker finds himself summoned to Asterisk and contracted to Liliana Lockwood as her familiar. Forced to leave behind his life on Earth, Max begins a precarious journey into the unknown world of magic. Training as a knight, learning to control mana, battling rogue necromancers and even being mistaken for Duke Walker's son... it's just one thing after the next. But as if that wasn't bad enough, Asterisk, a world which subverts reality as you know it, may just have something to do with Max's own heaven-defying origin... and a secret that could leave the universe hanging by a thread. WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE IS INVITED STRAIGHT INTO THE HEART OF YOUR HOUSE? Seven years ago, Rhysa Jiang ran. She buried her past, chose to start over from a clean slate. She became a near legend, the only female Iron Wolf, deciding to become something new. They've hunted her down ever since, and until now she'd managed to evade their search. But now they've been invited to Sai. The Scarlet Palace. Her only home, her safe haven. And Rhysa has a suspicious feeling she's not going to be able to escape the Falcons' grasp this time. After all, she's a deserter, and those pay in blood around here. Dominic Lang had learnt long ago that Rhysa's past was something that shouldn't be dug up. Sure, he had his suspicions, but after being partners for six years, you learnt to trust someone. And if there was one thing he knew about Rhys, it was that the girl was fearless. So her sudden terror makes no sense. Her sudden caution, her sudden reluctance to even show her face in public is completely baffling. And he'll get to the bottom of this. Because Rhysa Jiang had been hiding the entirety of herself from him for too long, because there was nothing he loved more than a good mystery and challenge, and Rhys might just be the biggest one of all. It was just what friends do. (book #1 of 4 in the court of bones series, the third instalment in the silk and steel chronicles can be read as a stand-alone)
