Prince Bryn Cameron James Westwood- seventeen years old crown prince of Wester. Attractive, smart, but also cocky and egoistic. At least that's what people in the kingdom of Wester say and whisper. They also whisper that he breaks girls' hearts just for fun. His father is a good king-except for one important thing. The people, who live in Laywood, it is a forest of all the witches and wizards and other magical creatures which are in exale here. Theycan go out of the woods only when it's urgent. Magic doesn't work here. The king is scared of magic. The leader of the Laywood people and the king of Wester made a deal. Normal people don't go in and they don't go out, only when it's urgent. The royal guardians guard the way out, but also the way in. And there is a barrier which only the Laywood leader's relatives can cross.
Harper Laywood- the basically "princess" of Laywood. She lives in this forest since she was born. She is a witch. Her father is the leader of Laywood people. She's sixteen and she has never left the woods. The king thinks that magic doesn't work in Laywood. But there's one secret place- the Harlow's glade, where magic works but the king doesn't know that. Harper has been learning to use magic since she was a child. But only at this place. Only the magic of the Laywood leader's relatives works here. Harper is a brave young girl with a good heart, big dreams and an excitement for adventure. She dreams of seeing the world out there. How much she wishes she could....
