I am not from this planet. Hell, I am technically not from this galaxy. However, that doesn't change the fact I am here now, and my job is to save what I can on this forsaken planet and what's left of its inhabitants. The problem is that not everyone wants to be saved. I know what you're thinking. You can't save those who don't want to be saved. I bloody well agree. The ones who sent me don't care what you or I think, though. All they care about is numbers. They need a certain success rate to continue to get funding for their "expeditions" and "peacekeeping" efforts. I use both terms loosely here. However, that's what they put on their records, and it's what sounds good and looks suitable to their investors. So this is the way it's going to be. So be it! This is a completed novel that has been proofed. Editing will begin in April, 2022. Shortly after the first ships were sent to colonize Mars all communication with Earth was lost. The other ships that were supposed to arrive never did. What had started as the first of many became the only ones. Domes were built to protect the people living there, since Mars could not be conquered as the early scientists had hoped. Rather than their dreams of taming a planet, they settled for living with a place never meant for humans. Kierst is one of the descendants of those early settlers and works on the interior of one the domes. His job gives him the solitude he prefers with both work and home. He has no family and no friends, which is one of the reasons he is chosen to learn the truth about what happened to Earth and why everyone on Mars must return. He is among a small group who are entrusted with the greatest secret of his government. If his group fails, there will be no future for those living on Mars. Their secret fate lies with those who must return to Earth.Concluida

While each attempt to get there has been compromised by the scheming, violent Conclave, Genesis's hopes to become the next captain of the Skeld have not once faltered.
