Deep in the forests of the Olympic peninsula, through the ancient mists and winding roads, lives Kella Burke - the last daughter in an ancient line of witchcraft.

Though she is powerful, she is alone in caring for ailing mother. Her ancestral home is crumbling around her, and being the town witch doesn't pay as well as it used to. Magic alone isn't going to put a new roof on the place.
