Wishing Wish

When Wish Anderson graduated from high school she promised herself to leave behind her sad past and start anew; to not let anybody underestimate her ever again; and to forget her first love for good.

For three years she thought she fulfilled all these albeit not smoothly, turning into someone totally different from the one she used to. That is until she gets to see the person she loved and at the same time hated the most again when she returned to her hometown. Her first love, Mathew Roose.

Of course she doesn't want to have anything to do with him, after all he's the reason why she was bullied and underestimated in her high school years. But his persistence to want to redeem himself won her over; only for her to find out later that Mathew is connected, and probably conspiring, with the person who made her college life almost seem like her high school days and threaten the odd jobs agency she is managing with two of her close friends.

Feeling betrayed and used, she swore to get her revenge to the both of them and recklessly asked Mathew to pretend to be going out with her. After all, didn't they say to 'keep you friends close and your enemies closer'?
When she thought that everything will go on according to her plans, her friends followed her to her hometown. Making the situation worse. Not only did they made her feel like history will repeat itself after they seemed to always be at Mathew's side on everything; but also they got fired up making her realized that her feelings for Mathew never really did disappear and everything she had done was only because she couldn't accept it.

What's more, Mathew seemed to take the 'pretend' relationship she proposed seriously, turning him into a possessive 'boyfriend' no one knew he could ever possibly become. And it doesn't help that he's one of the most influential members of a local gang.

And this is just the beginning.
