17 year old Olivia Karmichael is very broken. Growing up in a home with a physically abusive stepdad and a sexually abusive step brother has left its permanent mark. She was only six years old when her drunken stepfather made an attempt on her life with a broken beer bottle. The only reason she survived was because her twin brother Jacob stopped him before he could stab her again. It has been 11 years since then and Olivia is just like any other teenager but her world that she has finally gotten on the right track, is suddenly shaken up when her stepfather has paid his way out of jail.
