Sang Sorenson was a shifter, specifally from a sup-group called Squirm's. They can shift into anything they want from a young age, but as they grow they can only shift into their favorite animal. When Sang shifts for the first time after her thirteenth birthday, she is stunned to see her reflection in a lake to not be an animal, but rather a extreamly tall blue person. As the first person to shift into a fantasy species, she is stunned. Hiding from her already wary family, she trys to move on from this. When they move to Charlston, SC though, she can't hid it for much longer. Why you may ask? It's simple really. The two Academy boys on her street who are also Squirms can sense her, and they want to know more.
