In this Mortal Instruments fanfiction, It is in the perspective of 16 year old Lesley, who much like Clarissa Fray in Cassandra Clares hit series The Mortal Instruments, isn't aware she is a shadowhunter. But when she is attacked by a demon, Jace and Clary's son, Max, swoops in, just in time to see her demolish the demon with a kitchen knife. After discovering her mothers dead body, Max brigns her back as refugee to the New York Institute, where she learns of her true identity.
While she is there though, she begins to develop feelings for Max. But will they be able to pursue their feelings when things become complicated with the group of shadowhunters- along with fellow warlock, Magnus Bane- in the institute?
Demons of all sorts- from the greater to the lesser- are beginning to flood streets of New York, They are struggling to keep the mundanes safe, and on top of that, as Lesley gets her first runes, they have to train her.
