16 year old Rebecca Bloom was your everyday high schooler. She got good grades, payed attention, and was fairly quiet for someone her age. Dealing with her self consciousness, she goes to her only comfort in her tough life, Minecraft. One day, a rather curious world appeared within her game; she had no recollection of creating said world. Testing the world was almost the worst mistake of her life. Now, she must survive the very same game that she sought comfort. Along the way, she discovers new abilities, friends, foes, and much more. Unfortunately for her, there are other people within the game, she has no way of knowing who truly was a friend or a foe in disguise.

A Minecraft x reader Book 1 (Y/n) loves playing Minecraft. Sometimes she plays all day. One day her friend Maya couldn't play, so (Y/n) had to play by herself. She logged into the Hypixel server and played some of her favorite games, like farm hunt, build battle, pixel painters and so on. As some time went by, she got bored of playing those mini games, so she looked for a new one on the web. She found one that looked.. Unique, so she put in the IP address and spawned in. Y/N is a young, 16 year old kid. Their parents never got along very well, and Y/N would tune into Twitch streams or watch YouTube videos of their favorite MCYTs to drown out their parents fights, or to just pass the time. Y/N absolutely adored the Dream SMP and it's lore more than anything. However, Y/N was in a car accident with their parents, which resulted in their death, and Y/N's broken leg. Y/N was put into a foster system and bounced many homes within just a year. 27 homes to be exact. When Y/N was put into the foster system, their phone was shut off as nobody was able to pay for it anymore. This resulted in Y/N not being able to watch their comfort streamers anymore, which led Y/N into a depression-like state. Y/N's comfort streamers were the reason why Y/N hadn't took their own life. The people Y/N enjoyed watching the most was some people named Dream, Ranboo, Phil, Technoblade, and Wilbur Soot. Technoblade or Ranboo was probably their all-time favorite though. After all of this time, Y/N has mostly forgotten what all of the MCYTs look like, sound like, and even their names. One day, when Y/N is back in the place where all the kids wait to he fostered or adopted, two men walk in looking for a kid. No specific gender, race, or body type. Just a good kid. Y/N figures they're a lost cause since the staff kept telling the men how much of a 'rebellious little brat' they were, but then the men started talking with Y/N.
