Valerie was a typical girl with a typical life. A best friend that cared for her, a mother that would do anything to keep her safe. It all seemed so blissful until the night of prom when her best friend Danny went missing. The kidnapper could be someone that she knows. As she searches, the sick person that took Danny is leaving notes for Valerie with instructions that she must follow in order to get her beloved best friend back. Some of the things that she is required to do might cause her to lose some of the people and things that she cares for most. Worst of all, Valerie can't tell anyone about these notes in fear that the kidnapper might be watching and go after her next.
