A young boy whom was rarely called by his name-Kamamoto Akinori- was eight-years-old when he witnessed the horrific cruelties of the outside world. His family, which lived in isolation from the rest of the world, had been serving a wicked monster which turned out to be his great ancestor, an ancient demon. Treated like nothing but mere property from the moment he was born, Akinori wasn't prepared for what would become of him after one horrible night. A night that will haunt him. A night where he was only saved by the human embodiment of flames.

He had lived within his own little world for eight years, subjected to cruelties he was unaware of. To then suddenly have it all turned upside down, for better or worse. He was given a brand new start and has a lot left to learn. Will he make it? Or will he succumb to a sickness growing within his heart, one fueled by rage and anguish?
