Halfblood (noun): A term commonly used for one who is stuck between human and vampire; a human who began to turn into a vampire, but whose body was prevented from making the full transition.
Caleb had been a halfblood for half his life now. Ever since he was turned, he's been trapped by the vampires that turned him. Used for blood. Abused. Neglected. He's been stuck in a living hell.
Chris, a human and a vampire hunter, happens across the territory of the vampires keeping Caleb hostage.
When Caleb is used by the vampires as a diversion to repel Chris, their paths intertwine more than thought possible.
Will Chris be able to save Caleb from not just the vampires, but also the other humans, while keeping their secret under the radar?
