Naruto was adopted by the Uchiha Clan as a kid. When Itachi massacres the clan, Naruto and Sasuke vow to track him down and find out why he would do such a thing. But the two never could have guessed just how much Itachi was hiding from them. 

Minako is Naruto's older sister. After a series of events, she ended up leaving the village with Jiraiya at age 9. However, after an accident 3 years later, Minako is presumed to be dead. 6 years after the accident, Minako is still alive and smarter than ever. Thoughts of leaving Naruto behind back then still haunt her. But now, with the power to defend her heritage and vanquish her demons, Minako is ready to do whatever it takes to protect her brother, reconcile Itachi and Sasuke peacefully, and bring peace to this world.

Itachi has been in love with Minako for as long as he can remember. He realized his feelings when they took the Chuunin Exams together. Unbeknownst to him, his love does not go unrequited. But his resolve prevents him from bringing those feelings to light. He has chosen to walk a path that will ultimately result in his death, a path that requires him to bear incredible hatred.
