A world where everyone has a soulmate, represented by a soulmark. it could be a simple tattoo, a red string, mutual feelings of pain and/or emotion, or even a curse.

some people only have one type of soulmark, but in this case, you have 3.

a tattoo

outlined in black marks on your palm, a flower consisting of seven different petals lays there. it's vines curling around your hand as if it grew attached there

number two,

pain and emotion

everything they feel? you feel. every time they hurt themselves or get hurt? you feel it too. it's a bittersweet feeling. bitter because of the pain, but sweet because you know they exist nearby

and finally

number three,

a curse

the hanahaki disease.

every day of the week you would cough up a different flower, ranging from thistles to blue-bells, no matter the pain, you learned to live through it.
